The Next GenerationStaringKiara
General Information
Name: Kiara Age: Four years old Gender: Lioness Species: Lione Alliance: Pridelander
Personality
As a young child, Kiara held a Adventurous rhythm in her heart, wanting nothing more then to run off and have the time of her life. She was independent, always trying to get away from those who were watching her and never wanting to stay around long enough to listen to what they had to say. She was quick to show she was a trouble maker and not only that, would always disobey her father, including going out into the Outlands, where she befriended a young cub and they were playing, but it was not long before her father came and punished her for such a thing.
As she grew, this did not change much. She was a bit more mature, but she wanted nothing more then to go out and be herself. She hates being trapped and her father, being so protective, seemed to always trap her. He even ruined her first hunt by sending Timon and Pumbaa, though, that was not the only reason it was ruined. Her father tried his hardest to keep her away from the Outlands and the Outsiders, until Kovu came back into the life of his daughter, by saving Kiara's life. She has never thought of him as a blood thirsty killer that his mother tried to make him, she saw his loving side and even made sure it came out. She fell in love with the beast and through their love, she ended up breaking the rules and running away in order to be with him.
Now, as a Adult, her own heart and mind has matured, her love still strong for Kovu, she had learned that she has to think before she acts. She is not always up to breaking the rules anymore, though she does still like to cause her father a headache and also Kovu. She is still High Strung and as independent as ever. But she is also protective, even over those older then her. She will do anything to protect them and will even fight for their honor. She is not one you want to get made, so it would be a good idea to stay on her good side.
Appearance
Kiara is a beautiful lioness, with bright orange fur, not much darker then her mother's fur. She blends in with the grassland with ease, able to hid from nearly anything. Her eyes, though not like either of her parents hold the brownish-red eyes of her grandfather, the might Mufasa. She has a feminine build to her body, but not only that, she is strong and fast. She does not have her mother's build, nor her father's build, but one would call it her Grandmother, Sarafina's build, which would be meant for hunting. Her paws are a bit lighter around the toes then the rest of her body, but other then that, she holds the same color tone.
History
Kiara is the daughter of Simba and Nala. Granddaughter to Mufasa, Sarabi, and Sarafina and the Princess of the Pridelands. Born in the Heart of Pride Rock, Kiara was protected from birth, not seen until the day of her Presentation to the Pridelands. Though, she is not the first born to her parents, she is the second born to Nala and Simba, first being her brother Kopa, who was said to have been killed by traitors, though from what Simba told her, he was carried off and he had been unable to catch the outlanders and lost his son.
As Kiara grew, she became as strong headed as her father had been, desperate for adventure, however, because of his first lost, his protectiveness is out the roof and everywhere she goes, Timon and Pumbaa are always present in her life. She hates it, always feeling like she is caged. It was finally one day she got the adventure she needed and as Timon and Pumbaa were arguing, she was able to slip away towards the outlands...
As she is crossing a log, Kiara finds herself slipping and tumbling into another lion cub, though not a very nice one at first. The young cub growls at her, though Kiara stands off to him and as he is slightly confused, he ask why. She replies "My father told me to never turn your back on an Outsider." Which came with a simple mocking from the young cub, who brags about being able to take care of himself and walks onto a stone in the middle of a swamp. Kiara foolishly follows, unaware that the stones are actually crocodiles in Crocodile River. Kiara and the young cub work together to get out, though nearly losing the other cub, Kiara becomes the hero and helps him get out of the swampy river.
After the near death experience, the young cub claims himself to be Kovu, and the two begin to laugh. As Kiara tries to play tag, she notices that the young male does not seem to understand and so changes her playing strategy and growls at him playfully. As he begins to play, her father came up behind her and so did his mother. The very thing scares, but soon she and Kovu are being picked up by their parents and they say a hushed Good Bye.
As they travel back home, Simba and Kiara stop in order to talk. Simba explained to her how worried he was and how being a future Queen meant not going into danger like that. She expresses the fact that she does not want to be Queen and he is completely shocked by that. It was soon that things seemed to be worked out and they were once again smiling and heading home.
After two years pass, Kiara grows into a beautiful, slender young lioness and not only has she grown, but she has matured, but she still seeks adventure and she has finally gained her opprotunity. Her first hunt has come into her life and as she pleads with her father to allow her to do it on her own, she leaves, unaware that her father has sent Timon and Pumbaa to followly slowly behind. After a mistake, sending a herd to Topi stampeding away from her, she discovers Timon and Pumbaa and realizes her own father has betrayed her own trust and broken a promise.
She runs away from the Pridelands, angry at her father, but not knowing that Zira has been planning something. As Kiara begins her hunt again, she is trapped in the savanna, flames engulfing everything around. She makes one last chance to safe herself, fainting out of exhaustion, but only after seeing Kovu standing over her, though a much older Kovu. She wakes, seeing Kovu and asking where she is... After finding she is in the Pridelands, she grows angry at him, only to hear him say that he saved her life, but she did not care. As she attempts to leave, the young lion blocks her way and as he begins mirroring each movement she realizes who it is... Kovu!
As she smiles at him, her father appears, followed by Nala and Zazu, the silly bird. As Simba and Kovu growl at each other, Rafiki appears and indirectly tells Kiara's father that he had saved her life, though Simba does not like that, he is surprised and wonders why. Kiara watched as Kovu tells of his departure from the Outlands and then listens as he ask for acceptance into the land. She worried her father will deny, but is surprised when he mentions about his father's law and agrees to let him join, only as repaying a debt. Kiara, delighted by the news, smiles at Kovu, who later offers to teach her to be a better hunter and she agrees to start at Dawn.
Kiara leaves early in the morning and finds Kovu, able to sneak up on him and watching as he seems slightly annoyed, but he begins teaching her. He, however, accidently pounces on Timon, who Kiara believe is following her, but this time, he is not. He explains that he is getting grubs from him and Pumbaa and finds that they are having a hard time with some birds. Kiara shows off her roar and scars away all the bird, running around and though Kovu is confuses, she explains that it is fun and she laughed, but the fun ends when a group of Rhinos begin to chase the Lions. The two lions, the meerkat, and warthog are all pushed into a crevice to hide and as they are trying to wiggle out, the two lions are pushed together and though embarrassed, shake it off and head back to pride rock.
Later on during the night, the two begin to star gaze and ask they make out shapes, they begin to talk and she is surprised to find that he had never looked at the stars. She tells him that she use to do it all the time with her father and tell him about all the great kings. Kovu ask is Scar is up there... After stating that, Kiara watches him try to leave and watches as Rafiki stops him and then takes the two lions to Upendi, which is a Mirage, but encourages the lions to like each other more. They sing to themselves and afterwards head back to Pride Rock for the night.
The next morning, she is happy and surprised that her father, Simba, wants to talk to Kovu, but is stunned to see him come back injured, blaming it all on Kovu. She sees him returned, but Simba denies him access and Exiles him, Kiara is angry with her father, shouts at him and tells him that he will never be Mufasa. After returning into Pride Rock, she is able to escape, running away to find Kovu.
Kiara had been searching for hours when she finally gives up, but as she turns, she see Kovu behind her and she is overjoyed. The two laugh together and lie down next to a pool. They look at the reflection of each other and she hears Kovu say that they are one. She realized that what he said and she knows that they can not leave, knowing that if they do their families will be divided forever.
They race back, only to find their families in a blood bath, trying to kill each other. They reach them just as Simba and Zira around about to fight, and the separate the two fighting lions. Kiara explains to her father how they are all one and soon the Outsiders join the Pridelanders. In one last Attempt, Zira leaps at Simba, but Kiara intercept her and they tumble over the edge of the Gorge. Kiara manages to grab onto a rock and tries to help Zira, but it is no use, when Zira refuses the help and falls into the raging waters below. Kiara upset is helped up by her father and she is united with Kovu. Simba admits his wrongs about Kovu and the now larger pride returns to Pride Rock.
Now, Kiara and Kovu are Leaders of the Pridelands and though they have the help of Simba and Nala, they know they must try and lead this land with firm hearts and Minds.
Roleplay Example
As Kiara steped out of the den on Priderock, she streached, putting her rump in the air, her chest close to the ground. Yawning, Kiara looked around for her dad, Simba. She saw her mother, but not her dad. She walked over to her mother, licked her on the cheak and started down Priderock.
Setting out for adventure, Kiara went into the tall grass, right on the path her dad had made for her when she was a cub to make sure she could get to the watering hole without getting lost. So as Kiara walked down the worn out path, she heard her dad and another lioness talking, something in their voices bugged her. Then she heard her grandmothers name and said something was wrong with her.
Kiara started to pick up her pace, starting as a frantic walk, then a jog, then a full on run. Paws hitting the ground, making indents in the sandish dirt. Kiara wanted to scream for her dad, but she couldnt. By the time she was by them, she saw her Grandmother on the ground, covered in blood. Claw marks all over her body. Tears started to come into her eyes, and her throght started to form a lump in it. But Kiara pushed all of that down, and steped out into the open.
Kiara basicly crawled to her dad, like she did when she got in trouble for doing something. " Daddy?" Kiara lifted her head to see her dad, tears were in his eyes, and she did not even notice the other lioness right by them. All she noticed was her Grandma on the blood stained ground. Kiara could not hold back anymore, tears started to streem down her face. Burying her face into her dad's side, Kiara waited for her dad to do something, anything.
I am unsure if I did this right, if I did not I will fix it!
