Personality

This lioness has a roar as worse as her bite. Vitani always stays loyal to what she believes in. She is one of the most loyal Pridelander in the Pride but you wouldn't think she would be from her history. Vitani also is a very good spy, she has a knack for keeping low and under cover, even more so than the normal lioness' who usually do all the hunting. To top it all off, Vitani is also extremely cunning. She can figure things out usually within seconds and does wonders for her hunting. She's known as one of the best hunters in the Pride because of her cunning and is often allowed to call the shots.

Through all of this though, she has her secrets. Vitani gets very viscous when someone gets close to figuring out one of them. She gets angry really fast with certain lions and lioness' in the Pride. She also holds grudges for a very long length of time as well. Though she tries to treat everyone the same, you'll know if your on her bad side because her words are sharper than her bite.

Appearance

Vitani looks a lot like her mother, Zira. The two share the same build and have almost the exact same head and jaw structures. Vitani however is not her mother and has several small differences. The most noticeable difference is her eyes, which are yellow with very vivid and electric blue pupils. What makes her eyes stand out even more are the black rings around them. As a cub, her ears were very large and round, and now as an adult, they are still slightly large for the average lioness. Her tail is very long and her paws are large for her frame. Vitani is very beautiful, in a way that she likes to think, as her mother never could have been.

History

As a cub:
Vitani's entire existance was planned before she was even born. Vitani's mother was Zira and her father was Scar; both known for thier evil rein throughout the Pridelands and the Outlands. Zira had two cubs, one wanted and needed; Kovu, while the other; herself, was not. Vitani knew the importance and held no grudge against her brother, Kovu, how could she against family? Growing up alongside Kovu and her older half-brother named Nuka, Vitani learned to fight and learned that she had the same cunning as her parents. The two cubs stayed close even though they would start to go on two different paths.

As an adult:
As Vitani grew, so did her status among the Outlands. Her mother saw in her cub the same features as herself. This made Vitani quickly become her mother's second-in-command. She helped Kovu train for his mission of killing Simba so he could take his place as King. She practiced her battle skills even more than her fellow Pride members except maybe Nuka who always felt like he had something to prove. Though as she became an adult, her relationship for Nuka grew stronger even though the two constantly bickered. Then came the time for Kovu to finally put his mission to the test. Vitani and Nuka was given the task of setting fire to the grasslands around Pride Rock and where Kiara was hunting. The task was completed and it worked; Kovu 'saved' the princess and was accepted into the Pride.

The days and nights past as Vitani spied on Kovu. She saw that he had plenty of opportunities to kill Simba, but her brother did not take them. Loyalty to her brother conflicted with her loyalty to Zira, but in the end, Vitani always chose to not tell her mother about Kovu's unwillingness to kill. Then one day, all her hard work of protecting her brother vanished as Kovu and Simba ended up in a gorge. The rest of her Pride trapped both of them and while Kovu and Zira were arguing, Simba got away. While he was getting away, Vitani watched as Nuka tried to get Simba back and logs fell ontop of him. Vitani instantly rushed to his side to try and save him but Zira pushed her away. Her heart breaking, for the first time Vitani saw how cruel her mother really was as she outcasted Kovu. Also for the first time, her loyalty for her Pride and her mother faltered and she doubted herself.

More days passed and the time for battle was closing in. Vitani readied herself halfheartedly. She fought as hard as her fellow pridemates when the time came. Though when Kiara and Kovu stood thier ground to stop the fighting; Vitani was the first to stand her ground against her mother. Vitani joined the Pridelanders and though she still has a lot to get over (like her grudge against Nala), she truely feels loved and at home in the Pridelands.
